Dr. Sears recently received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. A distinction of only 6% of dentist in the U.S.

100 Years and Counting!

Sears Family Dentistry celebrated its 100th anniversary in business in Jacksonville. The celebration took place at their office in Ponte Vedra. Patients, local dentists, and many members of the community attended. There are links to a couple of articles describing the event and the history of the practice below.

Sears Family Dentistry is collaborating with the University of North Florida! Dr. Sears and Team are working with the career resource center to provide internship and mentoring opportunities to students pursuing a career in the dental field. The goal is to create an environment for students to learn more about dentistry and provide resources to benefit their next steps in education.

Dr. Kane Sears had a feature article published on The Millennial Slackers Guide website. Millennial Slackers Guide is a resource for young adults  "to help you with adult subjects so that you don’t get taken advantage of." Dr. Sears wrote an article on the basics of taking care of your teeth and health.

An article written about Dr. Kane Sears tells the story of him growing up in the Jacksonville community as a surfer, waterman, and now continuing the legacy of his family's dental practice always focusing on giving back to the local community.

Congratulations to Kim Sears for being recognized by the PV Recorder as the best hygienist in Ponte Vedra. Kim is a part of the family practice and has been so for over 40 years.
